陶房独歩炎（とうぼう どっぽえん）｜藤井博文

作家の藤井博文さんは、能登島生まれ、能登島育ち。
能登の海と豊かな自然の恵みとともに暮らしてこられました。

陶房独歩炎は、能登半島の中部に位置する石川県七尾市、
穏やかな七尾湾を望む自然豊かな場所に工房を構え、作陶を行っています。

その美しい能登の風景は、
2024年1月1日に発生した能登半島地震によって大きな被害を受けました。
藤井さんのお宅も倒壊しましたが、その後再建され、現在も作陶を続けています。

初めて藤井さんにお会いした時には、
ご自身で能登の海に潜って獲られたサザエなどの海の幸を携えて、
わざわざ岐阜までお越しくださいました。

震災前に工房へお邪魔した際には、
工房いっぱいに並ぶ作品の中で、
ご自身で作られたコーヒードリッパーとカップで
コーヒーを淹れてくださいました。
その時のコーヒーの美味しさは今でも忘れられません。

藤井さんは、もともと工業製品のデザイナー。
その経験から生まれる作品は、独創性と実用性を兼ね備え、
日常の中で使いやすい工夫が細部まで施されています。

マグカップは手にしっくりと馴染むよう設計され、
緑釉の羽釜はその独特の形状から、とても美味しいごはんが炊けます。

デザイナーならではの視点で細部まで考え抜かれた器たち。
近年はIHなど新しい調理環境に対応するための挑戦も続けています。

日本の原風景のような自然の中で暮らしながら、
日々の生活と作陶を通して、新しいものづくりを追求し続けています。

Doppoen Pottery Studio | Hirofumi Fujii – Noto Japan Ceramics

Doppoen is a pottery studio run by Japanese ceramic artist Hirofumi Fujii, born and raised on Noto Island in Ishikawa, Japan.
His studio is located in the city of Nanao, overlooking the calm waters of Nanao Bay on the Noto Peninsula.

Surrounded by the sea and rich natural landscapes, Fujii creates pottery that reflects the quiet beauty of everyday life in Noto.
The region is well known for its abundant marine life, and Fujii himself often dives into the sea to gather seafood such as turban shells (sazae).

When we first met, he even traveled to Gifu bringing seafood he had personally caught from the waters of Noto.
His life close to nature strongly influences the philosophy behind his ceramics.

Design Background

Before becoming a potter, Hirofumi Fujii worked as an industrial product designer.
This background is reflected in his ceramics, where creativity and functionality are carefully balanced.

His mugs are designed to fit naturally in the hand, providing comfort in everyday use.
One of his most distinctive works is the green-glazed rice pot, designed to cook exceptionally delicious rice thanks to its carefully considered shape.

Pottery Inspired by Everyday Life

Each piece from Doppoen combines traditional Japanese ceramic craftsmanship with thoughtful modern design.
From teapots and mugs to rice pots and coffee drippers, every item is created to make daily life more enjoyable.

Visitors to his studio before the earthquake remember the space filled with pottery.
He once brewed coffee using a coffee dripper and cup he had made himself — a simple but unforgettable experience.

After the Noto Peninsula Earthquake

The beautiful landscape of Noto was deeply affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake on January 1, 2024.
Fujii’s home was destroyed during the disaster but has since been rebuilt.

Today he continues his work in the same region, creating pottery that carries the spirit of resilience, craftsmanship, and connection to nature.

Doppoen Pottery Today

While rooted in traditional craftsmanship, Fujii continues exploring new possibilities.
He is currently developing designs compatible with modern kitchens, including pottery suitable for IH cooktops.

Living and working in the timeless natural landscape of Noto, Hirofumi Fujii continues his journey of craftsmanship, creating ceramics that connect nature, design, and everyday life.

Doppoen 是由日本陶藝家藤井博文所創立的陶藝工房。
藤井博文出生並成長於日本石川縣的能登島。

他的工房位於能登半島中部的七尾市，面向寧靜的七尾灣。
這片被海洋與豐富自然環境包圍的土地，成為他創作的重要靈感來源。

在這樣的自然環境中，藤井博文創作出展現能登日常生活之美的陶器。
能登地區以豐富的海洋資源聞名，而藤井先生也常親自潛入海中捕捉海產，例如螺貝（サザエ）。

第一次見面時，他甚至帶著自己在能登海中捕獲的海鮮，特地前來岐阜拜訪。
這種與自然緊密相連的生活方式，也深深影響著他的陶藝創作理念。

設計背景

在成為陶藝家之前，藤井博文曾經是一位工業產品設計師。
這樣的設計背景，使他的陶器在創意與實用性之間取得良好的平衡。

他的馬克杯設計讓手握持時自然舒適，非常適合日常使用。
其中最具代表性的作品之一是綠釉羽釜飯鍋，其特殊的形狀設計能煮出特別美味的米飯。

來自日常生活的器物

Doppoen 的每一件作品都結合了日本傳統陶藝工藝與現代設計思維。
從急須、馬克杯到飯鍋與咖啡濾杯，每一件器物都是為了讓日常生活更加愉悅而誕生。

在地震之前造訪他的工房時，可以看到空間裡擺滿了各式各樣的作品。
他還曾用自己製作的咖啡濾杯與咖啡杯沖泡咖啡，那是一段簡單卻令人難忘的體驗。

能登半島地震之後

2024年1月1日發生的能登半島地震，對這片美麗的土地造成了嚴重影響。
藤井先生的住宅也在地震中倒塌，但之後已經重新建造完成。

如今他仍然在同一片土地上持續創作陶器，
並將對自然、生活與工藝的連結融入每一件作品之中。

今日的 Doppoen

在保留傳統陶藝精神的同時，藤井博文也持續探索新的可能性。
近年來，他也開始嘗試開發適用於現代廚房環境的器物，例如可對應 IH 爐具的設計。

在宛如日本原風景般的自然之中生活與創作，
藤井博文透過陶器，持續連結自然、設計與日常生活。
